TOMORROW (1/19) is the 4TH ANNUAL BAY AREA ECO TU B'SHVAT SEDER! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you. The Seder will start promptly at 7pm (doors at 6:30pm) at the Women's Building.

SEDER FOOD UPDATE:

Once again we will have delicious, hearty vegan, kosher, mostly organic, mostly local soup at the Eco Seder as a compliment to the delicious fruits and nuts we've procured for your eating enjoyment. On the menu this year...a Lentil Soup with California Rice, Vegetables & Dark Greens and a Winter Squash Soup with Roots, Tubers, & Bulbs.

IF YOU DON'T YET HAVE A TICKET...

Online registration has closed. We will be selling tickets at the door on a first come, first serve basis. There are at least 20 tickets available, possibly more. We will not sell tickets after 7pm, so plan accordingly. Tickets will cost $23 at the door. You will receive a $3 refund if you bring your own dishware, cups, utensils, and napkins.

IF YOU BOUGHT YOUR TICKET IN ADVANCE...

Thank you!

A few reminders…

1. The Seder will start promptly at 7pm! Because seats are in such demand and we want to start on time, if you have not checked in at the registration desk by 6:50pm we will assume that you have decided not to join us and we will give your seat away. If you are running late, please call or text us at 415-640-7452 to let us know and we will hold your seat. We hope you can understand the necessity of this policy. Please plan accordingly and give yourself plenty of time to make it to the event on time. Remember, parking is very difficult in the Mission!

2. Bring your own dishware, get $3 back at the door. Don’t forget, we’re trying to make this event as close to a zero waste event as we can. If you bring your own reusable cups (2-3, one for wine and one or more for water and juice), plate, BOWL, silverware, and napkin you will receive a $3 refund at the door. Don’t worry, we will have compostable supplies, for those who don’t have or forgot. Thank you for helping us minimize the environmental impact of this event!

3. We are still in need of volunteers! We could use:

*We could use a few additional dedicated set-up volunteers starting at 4:30pm
at the Women’s Building. Please e-mail
bayareaecoseder@gmail.com if you can make it or call Sarah Appleman at 949-294-8361.
*Are there any musicians out there who’d be willing to help set the mood with a little acoustic music? E-mail bayareaecoseder@gmail.com if you’d be willing to bring and play an instrument.

4. We encourage everyone to use public transportation to get the event. Parking around the Women’s Building can be very, very difficult in the neighborhoods around the Women’s Building. So, if you need to drive, please leave yourself plenty of time to find parking and then still be checked in by 6:50pm. The Women's Building is easily accessed from the 16th Street BART Station or several bus lines. Check www.transit.511.org or www.google.com/local for point to point directions from your location to the Women's Building using public transportation. If you must drive, please try to carpool with your friends.

Again, thanks for registering for the Seder. We appreciate it and can't wait to see and celebrate with you tomorrow night!
